A teenager has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man who was stabbed to death in Dublin in 2011.
Craig O'Halloran, 19, from Colepark Road in Ballyfermot, Co Dublin, was remanded in custody to appear in court again next Friday.
He is accused of the murder of Kevin Kenny, who was attacked and stabbed on Sarsfield Road in Ballyfermot on 31 July 2011.
The victim, who was in his 30s, was pronounced dead in hospital a short time later.
Sergeant Denis Smith gave evidence of arrest, charge and caution at the Dublin District Court.
He told the court that Mr O'Halloran was arrested at 10.45pm last night and made no comment when he was charged with the murder.
There was no application for bail.
Judge Victor Blake granted the teenager legal aid before remanding him in custody to appear again at Cloverhill District Court next Friday.
