A two-year-old boy who was injured when an empty car rolled into his buggy in east Belfast yesterday, remains in a critical condition in hospital.
He is being treated in the intensive care unit of the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.
A 31-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the incident has been released on bail pending further police inquiries.
The child was in a baby buggy being pushed by his mother on the Comber Road in Dundonald in east Belfast when its believed an empty parked car rolled into them.
The toddler suffered critical injuries and was treated at the nearby Ulster Hospital in Dundonald, before being transferred to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.
The boy's mother was also treated in hospital for her injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
Detectives are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
