A 24-year-old man has died in a road crash in Co Limerick.

The man's car hit a wall around 6km outside Abbeyfeale at 4pm yesterday.

The man, who was the only occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was removed to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital, Limerick.
