The Dublin Airport Authority expects 620,000 people to go through the airport from today until 2 January.

Siobhan Moore of the DAA said the two busiest days of the Christmas period will be this Sunday and Sunday 30 December, as people arrive in Ireland and then leave after the holiday.

She advised those picking up loved ones from the airport to arrive 15 minutes beforehand.
