A farmer in his 60s has died in a farm accident near Ballina in Co Mayo.
The man was working on his land in the Bonniconlon area this morning when his quad bike was involved in an accident.
His body has been removed to Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar for a post-mortem examination.
Two separate investigations will be carried out by gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority.
