A 29-year-old Co Tipperary man has been charged with the murder of Shane Rossiter two months ago.
Maurice ‘Mossy’ Power, who is originally from Clonmel but has an address at Dranganbeg, Kilmoyler, Cahir was brought before a special sitting of Clonmel Court this afternoon.
Evidence of arrest charge and caution was given by Sergeant John Keane.
The court heard the accused is on social welfare and Judge Terrance Finn granted him free legal aid.
Mr Power is charged with the murder of Mr Rossiter at a house at Church Lane, Golden on 17 October.
He has been remanded in custody to appear before Cashel District Court next Wednesday.
