The home of a press photographer has been targeted in a bomb attack in Co Down.
A pipe bomb was left at the front door of the house in Mayobridge around midnight.
Photographer Mark Pearce, his partner and two children had to leave their home.
Six neighbouring houses in the street also had to be evacuated.
British army bomb disposal officers dealt with the bomb, which was declared a viable device.
Residents were allowed to return to their homes at 6am.
Police are appealing for information about the bomb attack.
Mr Pearce says he believes he was targeted because of his job.
