A 51-year-old man has died following a fire at a house at Roanmore Park in Waterford city yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 5pm and the man's body was found in a front room.
The scene was sealed off for a technical examination.
A post mortem was to be carried out at Waterford Regional Hospital.
