Renewed appeal for missing Dublin manFriday 07 December 2012 23.37
The family of a missing Dublin man have made an emotional appeal for information almost three weeks since he disappeared.
Louis Parsons, 20, was last seen in the Hazelwood Crescent area of Clondalkin at around 3am on 18 November.
He had been out socialising with some friends at a party. Despite extensive searches of the area, there has been no sign of him.
The Garda Water Unit has carried out a search of the canal and gardaí say his disappearance is "completely out of character".
They have spoken to a number of people who attended the party that night as part of the investigation.
Gardaí say they are not aware of any other reason at this stage as to why Mr Parsons has disappeared.
His sister Jessica appealed for information, saying "if anyone out there knows anything, anything at all, please contact the gardaí".
She said it is heartbreaking for her family, who lost their mother four years ago. "All we want is him home, we want him found, he's the baby of the family" she said.
Louis is 6ft2”, of broad build, with ginger hair, a freckled complexion and brown eyes.
When last seen he was wearing a white Manchester United jersey, light grey tracksuit bottoms, navy runners and a black and red Manchester United wool hat.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Clondalkin Garda Station 01-6667600,the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
