Three people have been seriously injured in a road crash in Co Mayo.
A young woman in one of the cars is described as being in a critical condition and has been taken to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.
Two young men travelling in the same car have sustained serious injuries.
The three-car collision happened at around 3.45pm on the N17 between Kilkelly and Knock at the Kiltimagh junction.
A total of five people are being treated tonight at Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar.
The road is closed and is expected to remain closed overnight.
