Gardaí in Clontarf are urging anybody with information to please contact them

Gardaí have issued an appeal for anyone who may have information regarding an aggravated burglary that took place yesterday in Dublin.

The incident occurred at a house on Greenfield Road, Sutton, Dublin 13, at approximately 8.20am yesterday morning.

A woman in her 50s, who lives in the house, had just returned home when two men, one armed with a knife, threatened her.

They tied up the woman and took an undisclosed amount of cash.

The raiders then left the house in a grey BMW 5 series with a 03-D registration (false registration).

The raiders abandoned the car on Lauders Lane, Burrow Road, Sutton, a short time later.

It is believed that the raiders may have changed cars at this location.

One of the raiders is described as a man in his 20s, of average height and build. He was wearing a navy tracksuit, baseball cap, and had a scarf covering his face. He spoke with a Dublin accent and carried the knife.

The second man, was also in his 20s, and is described as being of of average height and build.
