The Government has confirmed that it will not hold this year’s Budget announcement over two days, as it did last year.

The Budget will be announced on Wednesday 5 December.

Last year, Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform Minister Brendan Howlin made an announcement of changes to spending on Monday 5 December.

The tax changes were announced by Minister for Finance Michael Noonan on Tuesday 6 December.
