Stena Line sailings between Rosslare and Fishguard are going ahead today following an incident involving two ferries at Rosslare Europort yesterday evening.

However, the company said the 9am sailing was delayed until 10.30am.

It advised passengers to contact the Ferrycheck phoneline (01-2047799) for information on this evening's sailing.

The Stena Europe was attempting to dock when it struck the Oscar Wilde, an Irish Ferries vessel, which was berthed in the harbour.

Neither vessel was badly damaged and there were no injuries, but an investigation is to be carried out.
