Talks between management and unions at Aer Lingus and the Dublin Airport Authority at the Labour Relations Commission adjourned to allow the union side to consult shop stewards.

The talks centre on measures to address the €748m deficit in the companies' joint pension scheme, the Irish Aviation Superannuation Scheme.

SIPTU last week called off threatened strike action at Aer Lingus and the Dublin Airport Authority to allow the talks to proceed.
