Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams has rejected allegations by Dolours Price about his involvement in the IRA.

Mr Adams said her claims were untrue and "very hurtful".

Asked why he did not take legal action over the claims, Mr Adams said he did not have the money.

He said that Ms Price was an opponent of the peace process, and that she was suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
