The Bank of Ireland branch at O'Connell Street in Dublin was closed this afternoon after protesters from the Occupy Dame Street movement staged a demonstration inside the building.
The incident started at about 1.30pm, when seven protesters went into the branch.
A Bank of Ireland spokesperson said it was very unfortunate that they had to close the branch, but said it was done to protect their customers and staff.
