The production of a new Disney animated comedy series has generated 50 additional jobs at award winning Dublin company, Boulder Media.
Disney EMEA announced that it has started production in Ireland, on a new animated comedy, Randy Cunningham: Ninth Grade Ninja.
The series is set to premiere on Disney XD later this year and will air in more than 129 countries.
Boulder Media is handling the series from animation through to post-production.
It has already hired the 50 additional artists and animators to work on the project for its two-year duration.
The company won an award at the Children's BAFTAs last year for writing and animation on its co-production The Amazing World of Gumball.
