Pedestrian killed in Co Louth crash

A man has died after he was struck by a car in Co Louth last night.

A 48-year-man has died after being struck by a car in Co Louth.

The incident occurred at Reaghstown, Ardee, at around 9.50pm last night.

The man's body was removed to Louth County Hospital where a post mortem examination was expected to be carried out.

The driver of the car was uninjured.

Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information to contact them at Ardee Garda Station on 041-68711130, or the Garda Confidential Line 1800-666111.
