A man has been injured after a shooting incident at a building outside Longford town in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí say the owner of a furniture factory in Kilmoyle disturbed three men at the property at 6.30am.
One man, aged in his 20s, received gunshot injuries and was brought to the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Two other men, also in their 20s, were arrested in Ennybegs on the Dublin to Sligo road and are being held at Longford Garda Station.
The owner of the factory and his family are said to have been traumatised by the incident.
