Man injured in Dublin stabbing incident

A 26-year-old man was treated in hospital following a knife attack in Dublin.

A man was treated in hospital following a stabbing incident in Dublin.

The 26-year-old was found on the Upper Rathmines Road at around 4am after gardaí responded to call about a disturbance.

He was taken to St James's Hospital where his injuries are said not to be life-threatening.

Gardaí believe a number of people may have been involved in the attack.

The scene was preserved for a forensic examination.
