One man has been arrested after cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €800,000 were seized in Kilcullen, Co Kildare.

One man has been arrested after cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €800,000 were seized in Co Kildare.

The seizure was made in the Kilcullen area in the early hours of this morning.

A man in his 50s was arrested and is currently being held at Newbridge Garda Station.
