Two men have been arrested in connection with a death in Cork city over Christmas.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a father-of-two in Cork city over Christmas.

Gerard Delaney, 51, died at Cork University Hospital following a row outside a pub in Ballyphehane on 27 December.

The men, in their late teens and early 20s, were arrested in Togher at around 7.30am.

They are being held at Mayfield Garda Station.
