Rescue effort off Co Dublin coast

There was a rescue effort off the Co Dublin coast after a vessel starting taking on water.

A rescue effort was undertaken off the Co Dublin coast today after a fishing vessel starting taking on water.

There were seven people on board the 'Ludovic Geoffray', which got into difficulty this afternoon around 58km northeast of Howth.

The Dublin Coastguard helicopter, as well as the Howth Lifeboat, assisted in the operation.
