A man has died in a house fire in Co Mayo.
An elderly man has died in a house fire in Co Mayo.
The blaze broke out at a house at Gortmelia in Inver at around 9.30am.
The man's body has been removed to Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar for a post-mortem examination.
The scene has been preserved for technical examination.
Gardaí say they are not treating the fire as suspicious.
