Paddy Martin, the father of Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin, has died at the age of 89.
Paddy Martin, the father of Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin, has died.
Mr Martin was 89 years old.
Fianna Fáil deputy leader Éamon Ó Cuív said he was ''deeply saddened'' to hear of the death of Paddy Martin.
"I want to extend my deepest condolences, along with those of my Parliamentary Party colleagues and the entire Fianna Fáil organisation, to Micheál, his brothers and sisters, and the Martin family at this time," he said.
