Britain's Prince Philip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth, has been taken to hospital after suffering from chest pains, according to Buckingham Palace.
He was due to have "precautionary tests" at the specialist heart and chest unit of Papworth Hospital, one of Britain's main cardiothoracic centres, in Cambridge, eastern England, a palace spokeswoman said.
No more details about the condition of the 90-year-old Duke of Edinburgh were immediately available.
