Man dies in Wexford house fire

Gardaí are investigating the cause of a house fire in which a man in his early 80s died in Co Wexford.

Fire at isolated farmhouse in Wexford

A man in his early 80s has died in a house fire near New Ross in Co Wexford.

Emergency services were called to the isolated farmhouse in Tinnecarrig, Newbawn at 10pm last night.

It is understood the man was living alone.
