Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a knife attack in Dublin city centre last night.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a knife attack in Dublin city last night.

A 26-year-old woman was stabbed on Abbey Street, near the Jervis Luas stop, at around 7.30pm yesterday.

The victim was treated at the Mater hospital.

Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
