Former RTÉ newsreader David Timlin dies

The death has occurred of the former RTÉ newsreader David Timlin.

Former RTÉ newsreader David Timlin has died at the age of 73.

Mr Timlin was originally from Clontarf in Dublin. He worked in RTÉ from the 1960s until 2001.

He is survived by his wife, Carol and their three children - Sandra, Natasha and Kenneth.
