A nursing home group will open its latest complex in Dublin later this month, providing 130 jobs.

The jobs, which were previously announced, will come on stream in Santry at the end of September.

The centre will house 103 beds for both public and private patients, day care and respite facilities.

The TLC group already employs more than 350 people in nursing homes in CityWest and Santry in Dublin, and Straffan in Co Kildare.

The first TLC Centre, also in Northwood Park, opened its doors in December 2004 and is now fully occupied with a waiting list.

A Japanese-themed centre will boast a garden with winding pathways, Japanese sculptures, ornaments and a traditional Japanese garden tea house.

The company says further plans are already in place for centres in Blanchardstown and Killiney.
