Up to 500 people are protesting today at Roscommon County Hospital against the closure of 24-hour emergency services there.
The emergency department was closed last month and was replaced by an urgent care centre which provided a temporary nightly service.
However, this 24-hour service will close on Monday and out-of-hours patients will be referred to hospitals in surrounding areas.
The Health Service Executive has said that the emergency department at the hospital is unsafe.
