Care workers at the Rostrevor House Nursing Home who have staged a sit-in at the nursing home today have left the premises.

Agreement was reached between care workers and employers over entitlements.

Employers have signed a statement confirming all entitlements to be paid.

Earlier, the Health Service Executive confirmed that the last residents of Rostrevor House Nursing Home in Rathgar in Dublin have been moved to alternative accommodation.

The HSE recently took charge of the home after the Health Information and Quality Authority secured an interim district court order cancelling the home's registration, due to concerns over the safety of residents.
