NAMA appoints receiver to Mansfield businessesWednesday 20 April 2011 22.15
The National Asset Management Agency has appointed a statutory receiver to a number of businesses linked to developer Jim Mansfield and his family.
These include Weston Aerodrome, six apartment blocks beside the CityWest hotel in Dublin and Palmerstown House Estate in Co Kildare.
NAMA appointed the receiver after he failed to agree a suitable business plan to pay down his debts.
It is believed Kieran Wallace from KPMG has been appointed.
Mr Mansfield is the third big name developer put into receivership by NAMA in recent weeks.
Paddy Kelly and Derek Quinlan both had receivers appointed to some of their businesses by the agency.
