A 21-year-old man has died in a car crash in Co Cork.
He was the driver of a car, which went out of control and crashed at Waterpark, Carrigaline, at around 5.30am.
Four other people in the car were injured and taken to hospital.
Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The road is closed and local diversions are in place.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to contact them in Carrigaline on 021 4919370.
Elsewhere, a 76-year-old German woman has died following a collision in Co Clare.
The woman was struck by a tractor at a pedestrian crossing in Bunratty yesterday afternoon.
She was taken to the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick, but died late last night.
