A man in his 20s was due in court this morning in connection with yesterday's car crash in west Belfast which left nine people injured.
The injured were taken to hospital for treatment after a Nissan Primera collided with a black taxi near the Kennedy Way roundabout.
Police officers were chasing the car after it failed to stop in the Andersonstown Road area of the city.
The man was to face a number of charges, including driving offences, assault on police and cannabis possession.
A second man, arrested in connection with the same incident, has been released pending further inquiries.
