A man in his 80s has been killed in a two-car collision near Milford in north Donegal.
The crash happened at around 5pm this afternoon at Bunlin Bridge on the Milford to Carrigart road.
The man who died was the driver of one of the cars in the collision. The road is closed and diversions are in place.
Garda forensic accident investigators will examine the scene in the morning.
Elsewhere, a woman died in a four-car collision in Co Limerick last night.
A four-year-old boy was among four others injured in the accident at around 10.30pm. None of the four were seriously injured.
The crash happened near Newcastle West on the Abbeyfeale Road between Barna and Garryduff Cross.
