The service supports young people at key, vulnerable stages in their lives, such as the transition to secondary school, during crisis points such as episodes of bullying, or when a young person refuses to attend school.
The ISPCC said that this year it is set to continue the trend of 2009, reporting record levels of demand, with 317 referrals received within the first six months of 2010.
It currently has a waiting list of 119 families.
