Woman in court on trafficking charge

A woman was due in court this afternoon charged in connection with an attempt to traffic two Chinese women into the country.

The Malaysian woman was arrested by officers from the Garda National Immigration Bureau at Dublin Airport this morning.

The two Chinese women have now applied for asylum here.
