Wicklow human skull to be examined

The human skull found on farmland in Co Wicklow has been removed to the State Laboratory for examination.

Garda search units remain at the scene Ballyfolan, Manor Kilbride, which is about 11km from Blessington.

A forensic anthropologist was to examine the skull, believed to be that of an adult male.

It was uncovered by workmen clearing a wooded area in the Wicklow Mountains.
