The administrators appointed to Quinn Insurance have said that some job losses are inevitable at the company.
A spokesman for the administrators said an email had gone out to staff this afternoon outlining the administrators' response to yesterday's decision to allow a limited resumption of business in the UK market.
The email also said the administrators would be assessing staffing levels in the short, medium and long-term and said that regrettably staffing levels cannot continue as they are.
The administrators have been meeting staff to discuss the election of staff representatives.
