Taoiseach Brian Cowen has said he is focused on trying to find a solution to the problems facing the Quinn Group.
Mr Cowen has asked Enterprise Ireland to meet representatives from the company.
Concerns over the firm's solvency led the Financial Regulator to decide to place Quinn Insurance into provisional administration during the week.
Speaking in Dublin today, Mr Cowen said his main concern was for the future of the employees of the company.
