Device found outside Donegal head shop

An improvised device found outside a head shop in Letterkenny has been removed from the scene.

An improvised device found outside a head shop in Letterkenny, Co Donegal, has been removed from the scene.

The device was discovered outside the premises on Pearse Street at 1am.

Local residents left their homes and the army bomb disposal team was alerted.

The device was removed from the scene a short time later and residents were allowed to return to their homes.
