A 28-year-old Irish chef has won a major cookery competition in Britain.
Kenneth Culhane, from Lisselton in Co Kerry, was one of six finalists for the Roux Scholarship.
Mr Culhane, who studied at Dublin Institute of Technology, gets a prize of £5,000, as well as a three-month placement in any Michelin star restaurant in the world.
