27-year-old dies in Co Laois crash

A man has died in a road accident near Portarlington in Co Laois.

The 27-year-old man was killed when the car he was driving struck a ditch.

No other vehicles were involved.

He was pronounced dead at the Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise.
