Six held in Belfast dissident investigation

Six men have been arrested in west Belfast by police investigating suspected activity by dissident republicans.

Gun seized

The PSNI says two cars were stopped and searched at around 10pm last night.

The six who were detained have been taken to Antrim Police Station for questioning.

A gun and a number of other items were seized and have been removed for examination.
