The Communications Workers Union were to meet Postbank management today to discuss the future of workers at the company.
Postbank, which is partially owned by An Post, employs more than 260 people around the country.
150 workers at its call centre in Athlone face redundancy after the bank decided to wind down its operations.
The staff have called on Minister for Finance Brian Lenihan to take steps to protect their jobs.
