A pedestrian has been killed in a road crash near Killorglin in Co Kerry.
The crash happened at around 8.30pm on the Milltown Road outside out the town.
The dead man is thought to be in his late 40s.
Gardaí are investigating of the circumstances surrounding the crash and are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
The road is expected to be examined by Garda forensic road crash investigators.
