Cannabis plants seized in Co Meath

Two men have been arrested following the seizure of cannabis plants and cannabis herb during a planned house search in Ashbourne, Co Meath.

Gardaí seized a large quantity of plants and herb with a total street value of up to €200,000. Cultivation equipment was also found.

The search was carried out by gardaí investigating the cultivation and supply of cannabis in counties Meath and Dublin.

The two men, aged in their 20s and 40s, were arrested at the scene.

They are being detained at Kells Garda Station.
