The High Court has appointed Kieran Wallace of KPMG as interim examiner after hearing that an investor was keen to inject funds into the company.

A statement from the company said it would continue to be run by its executive team, which includes founders Mark Tooke and Jackie Skelly.

The company employs 300 people and operates ten fitness centres across the country.
