An out-of-service cash machine has been stolen in Cork city.
A digger was used to remove the ATM from a wall in the early hours of this morning.
The ATM machine had been out of use since December and gardaí say it contained no money.
The scene has been sealed off.
A digger and a van, which were found nearby, are being technically examined.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area last night to contact them.
